About the Eskom YES Programme 2026

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be between 18 and 34 years old.
- Have Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification.
- Post-Matric certificates or programmes will be advantageous.
- Be unemployed at the time of application.
YES Programme Selection Criteria
To qualify for the programme, applicants must:
- Not have been permanently employed by one employer for more than 12 consecutive months.
- Not be studying full-time during the year of employment.
- Not have participated in the YES Programme previously.
- Be willing to undergo Eskom’s recruitment and selection process.
