Gert Sibande TVET College, together with INSETA, is offering an 18-month Work Integrated Learning Programme for qualifying unemployed youth.
Successful applicants will be placed within insurance organisations across the Gert Sibande Region to gain practical workplace exposure and hands-on industry experience.
The programme aims to help students bridge the gap between theoretical studies and real workplace experience in the insurance and financial services sector.

Fields of Study Accepted
Applications are invited from students who completed N4 to N6 qualifications or hold a DHET Statement of Results in the following Report 191 Business Studies programmes:
- Management Assistant
- Human Resource Management
- Financial Management
Programme Duration
The Work Integrated Learning Programme will run for:
- 18 months
This allows learners enough time to gain meaningful workplace exposure while developing professional skills and industry understanding.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements before applying:
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Be a South African citizen
- Be unemployed
- Have no criminal record
- Be proficient in English
- Be willing to work within the insurance sector and funeral parlours
- Not currently be studying
- Not intend to study during the programme period
- Not participating in another learnership, internship, or training programme
- Be a registered or former Gert Sibande TVET College student
- Possess N4 to N6 Certificates or a DHET Statement of Results in one of the qualifying fields
